Hand-carved by a local craftsman in Ubud, Bali, this intricate decorative wood panel depicts frangipani flowers, a very common plant on the island of Gods. Frangipani flowers are widely used as religious offerings. Women often display them around small shrines once the prayer is over. Many Balinese also grow frangipani trees in their garden to enjoy their lovely scent.
Best used to: decorate a living room (above dining table or TV).
Made of suar wood, which is also called Samanea Saman or Raintree. Suar wood is known to be one of the most durable and affordable woods in South East Asia.
